ACM-Infosys Foundation Award

The ACM - Infosys Foundation Award in the Computing Sciences recognizes personal contributions by young scientists and system developers to a contemporary innovation that, through its depth, fundamental impact and broad implications, exemplifies the greatest achievements in the discipline. Daphne Koller was awarded the first ACM-Infosys Foundation Award in Computing Sciences in 2007 for her groundbreaking work combining relational logic and probability to allow probabilistic reasoning to be applied to a wide range of applications, including robotics, economics, and biology.
